Hi, I'm Chad “Tat2Face” Kerns, the artist and founder of Uber Ink Mobile Tattoo.
For me, tattooing has never been just about ink—it's about telling stories, preserving memories, and creating artwork that means something. Every tattoo represents a chapter in someone's life, and it's an honor to be trusted with that responsibility.
My own story has been anything but ordinary. I spent a significant part of my life incarcerated, an experience that forced me to take a hard look at who I was and who I wanted to become. While those years were some of the most difficult of my life, they also taught me accountability, resilience, patience, and the value of second chances. They didn't define my future—they helped shape the person I'm proud to be today.
When I was released, I made a commitment to build a different life through creativity, hard work, and purpose. Tattooing became more than a profession—it became a way to connect with people, help them tell their stories, and create something meaningful that lasts a lifetime.
I founded Uber Ink Mobile Tattoo because I wanted to offer a different kind of experience. Instead of asking clients to come to a crowded studio, I bring a clean, professional, private tattoo setup directly to them. Whether it's your home or another comfortable location, my goal is to provide high-quality artwork in an environment where you can feel relaxed and respected.
Outside of tattooing, I'm also passionate about music, graphic design, apparel, and building creative brands. Songwriting gives me another way to express the lessons, struggles, and victories that have shaped my life. Whether I'm creating a tattoo, designing merchandise, or recording music, everything I make comes from a genuine place and reflects my belief that people can grow beyond their past.

Service Area
I proudly serve clients throughout Southern Indiana and Ohio, bringing a professional tattoo experience directly to your home, business, or event.
I'm always open to traveling for the right project. Travel within 50 miles of my primary service area is included. For appointments requiring travel beyond 50 miles, a reasonable travel fee may be added to help cover fuel and travel expenses. Any applicable travel costs will always be discussed and approved before your appointment is booked.
